Claude Money is a producer from Nottingham via Singapore and Spain. Influences in his work on this project include music from all over South-East Asia as well as flamenco from his home in Andalucia. From a young age, Claude became fascinated with the history of library music, soul, jazz and house. Eventually his love for the music as well as its trivia and stories led him to producing his own beats, emulating his favourite producers like Flying Lotus, Bonobo and Alchemist to name a few.
Over the last year he has produced music for artists across Europe. From RnB contributions to the EMI publishing library, forthcoming EPs with a host of Nottingham artists, to Boom Bap tracks for Spain’s legendary Elphomega, Claude is quickly establishing himself as a fierce competitor in the production game.
His music has also been put to screen. In addition to a recent skate documentary on BBC’s Inside Out, in 2018 Claude scored the documentary The Movement highlighting the plight of refugees in crossing the Mediterranean.
